Chongqing - Wulong Fairy Mountain - Three Natural Bridges - Wulong

After breakfast, head to Wulong Fairy Mountain (at least 1.5 hours of sightseeing; optional small train ride ¥25). This national geological and forest park, located in the eastern Wuling Mountains of Chongqing, has an altitude of 2,033 meters. It features 330,000 acres of forest and 100,000 acres of natural grassland. With a summer average temperature of 22°C, it is praised as the "First Pasture in the South" and the "Eastern Switzerland" for its unique mountain grasslands and beautiful forest landscapes.

Next, visit the Three Natural Bridges Scenic Area (ticket included, about 2 hours). Famous for its stunning "Three Bridges with Two Pits" landscape, it is home to the world’s largest group of natural bridges and the second-largest sinkhole group. The sheer scale and beauty of the site are breathtaking. It was also the only outdoor filming location for Zhang Yimou’s 2006 movie Curse of the Golden Flower, where you can see the Tang Dynasty post house built for the film.

Lichuan — Yunyang Long Canyon Geopark (Sky Rail) — Chongqing

After breakfast, we will head to Yunyang Long Canyon, a popular tourist destination that features beautiful natural scenery, cultural sites, and geological wonders. Located in Yunyang County, Chongqing, the park includes famous spots like Long Canyon Pit, the Sky Bridge, and Qishan Pasture.

The Long Canyon Pit is an oval-shaped sinkhole that is 335 meters deep and is known as the "World's Largest Canyon." Visitors can enjoy an exciting adventure on the Sky Rail (ticket included) and walk on the Sky Bridge, which is 1,010 meters high and 26.68 meters long. It is one of the longest glass bridges in the world, allowing a 720-degree view of the surrounding scenery. In addition to the stunning views, the park also offers rich cultural activities. The local Tujia culture is well-preserved, and visitors can enjoy traditional performances, taste local Tujia cuisine, and learn about their way of life and traditions. The area is also home to many historical sites and legends, such as the "Dragon King Temple" and "Immortal Cave," adding a sense of mystery to the visit.

Xiqi Park (Giant Pandas) - Guanyin Bridge — Kuixing Tower - Nanshan Music Hotpot - Hongya Cave

Start your day at Chongqing Zoo to see the famous giant panda, “Yukeyu Ai.” The zoo has 10 areas and over 4,000 animals, including rare species like the South China tiger.

Next, visit Ciqikou Ancient Town, a historic street by the Jialing River, known for its delicious local food.

For dinner, enjoy Nanshan Music Hotpot, where you can eat hotpot while listening to music and watching a Sichuan opera face-changing performance, all while enjoying the night view of Nanshan.

Finish your day at Hongya Cave, beautifully lit at night, with a stunning view of the bridges and neon lights reflecting on the water. You can also take a Two Rivers Night Cruise (optional, 158 CNY) to see the unique night scenery of Chongqing.
