Itineraries
Day 1
Irkutsk Airport - Irkutsk Hotel
Hotel: Irkutsk City Center Hotel 4* (or equivalent)
Meals: Self-arrangement
Upon arrival in Irkutsk, a professional staff member will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. After checking in, you are free to self tour the town. Please take care of your personal safety and belongings, as there is no guide accompanying you on this day.
Day 2
Irkutsk City Tour
Hotel: Irkutsk City Center Hotel 4* (or equivalent)
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast, begin your scenic tour of Irkutsk, visiting iconic sites like Spassky Church, Epiphany Cathedral, Kazan Church, and the charming 130 Quarter. Next, head to the Taltsy Open-Air Museum (47km, 1 hrs), where you can explore well-preserved wooden houses and immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of Siberia. Return to Irkutsk for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3
Irkutsk – Olkhon Island
Hotel: Baikal Khan / Baikal View Hotel 3* (or equivalent)
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Embark on an exciting journey to Olkhon Island (300km, 7-8 hrs), with a stop at the Golden Horde Ethnic Park to experience a Buryat folklore performance and enjoy a traditional lunch. Continue your adventure along the ice road, where you'll board iconic UAZ jeeps to reach the picturesque Khujir village (40km, 1 hrs). End the day with a delicious dinner and an overnight stay on the island.
Day 4
Olkhon Island – Cape Khoboy
Hotel: Baikal Khan / Baikal View Hotel 3* (or equivalent)
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Set out on a full-day UAZ jeep tour to explore Olkhon Island’s northern wonders: Burkhan Cape, Shaman Rock, Lion & Crocodile Rock, Three Brothers, and Cape Khoboy. Along the way, admire spectacular natural ice formations including grottoes, icicles, frozen ice falls, and hummocks of ice. Weather permitting, enjoy a special picnic lunch on the ice with Baikal delicacies. Return to Khujir village for dinner and rest.
【Optional】Arctic Station Experience – Step into the shoes of a polar explorer during this unique 1-hour visit ! Enjoy tea brewed in a traditional wood-burning samovar served with Russian bagels, take fun photos at themed zones, and try ice bowling, golf, hockey, and explore a snow igloo. Open from 5 February.
Day 5
Olkhon Island – Listvyanka
Hotel: Krestovaya Pad Hotel 3* (or equivalent)
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Begin an unforgettable hovercraft journey across the frozen Lake Baikal (260 km, 7–8 hrs). As you glide over the clear ice, stop at scenic spots featuring transparent blue ice, frozen bubbles, and surreal formations—perfect for photography. Experience the unique Baikal Kiss ritual, sipping vodka from an ice hole, and feel a deep connection with the pristine Siberian nature. Arrive in the charming village of Listvyanka by evening.
Day 6
Listvyanka – Irkutsk
Hotel: Irkutsk City Center Hotel 4* (or equivalent)
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Set off for Listvyanka village, where you’ll explore the vibrant fish and souvenir market. Discover the wonders of Lake Baikal at the Baikal Museum, home to the fascinating Baikal seals. Ride the chairlift to Chersky Peak for breathtaking views of the Angara River, and experience the thrill of a husky sled ride. In the afternoon, return to Irkutsk for free time and shopping.
Day 7
Irkutsk Hotel - Irkutsk Airport
Meal: Breakfast
After breakfast, transfer to the airport according to your flight schedule, bringing back treasured memories and the enchanting beauty of Lake Baikal.
