Itineraries
Day 1
Almaty
Meals: Dinner
Hotel: Almaty - Holiday express Hotel or equivalent
Your arrival is at Almaty airport, where you will meet your guide. Have dinner in a local restaurant, check in to the hotel.
Day 2
Esik Lake and City Tour
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Hotel: Almaty - Holiday express Hotel or equivalent
Depart for Esik Lake, where you can enjoy stunning views and explore the surrounding nature. In the afternoon, return to Almaty for a city tour, visiting key attractions such as: Zenkov Cathedral: A beautiful wooden church located in Panfilov Park. Almaty Central Mosque: A stunning architectural landmark. Green Market: Experience the local culture and flavors. In the evening, you'll have free time to explore local cafés or enjoy the nightlife.
Day 3
Shymbulak and Bogdanovich Glacier
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Hotel: Almaty - Holiday express Hotel or equivalent
Head to Shymbulak, a popular ski resort nestled in the mountains. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery and consider taking a cable car ride for panoramic views. Next, continue to Bogdanovich Glacier. If the weather permits, you can opt for a hike or engage in some snow activities. Bogdanovich Glacier Hike: Length: 3 km, Difficulty: Light. Duration: 3-4 hours. Altitude: 3,400 m.
Season: November - February (the only period when we can descend into the October Cave)
After your adventure, return to Almaty and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.
*Disclaimer: This route is best suited for travel in summer, early autumn, or winter. During spring and late autumn, it’s not advisable due to slopes potentially being overloaded with snow, increasing the risk of avalanches. We’ll provide an alternative attraction to visit in replace of << The Bogdanovich Glacier>> during Spring , Late Autumn.
Day 4
Almaty-Charyn Canyon- Kayndy Lake (Horseback Riding)
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Hotel: Almaty - Holiday express Hotel or equivalent
Depart for Charyn Canyon, renowned for its dramatic rock formations and stunning landscapes. Enjoy a guided tour to explore the canyon's unique features. Arrival to Saty village, lunch will be served at a local guesthouse, where you can savor the serene environment and breathtaking views. Next, you will switch to a Russian military vehicle for the journey from Saty Village to Kaiyndy Lake, which will take approximately 30 minutes. Horse back riding to the lake side.
Day 5
Saty Village- Kolsai Lakes- Almaty
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Hotel: Saty Village local guest house
Start your morning with a visit to Kolsay Lake for a peaceful experience. Enjoy some boating and take a leisurely walk around Kolsay National Park. For lunch, savor a meal with a stunning view of the Tian Shan mountains and Kolsay Lake. In the afternoon, drive back to Almaty. Stop by the Green Market to shop for souvenirs and try some traditional Kazakh snacks. Finish your day with dinner at an
ethnic restaurant before checking into your hotel.
Day 6
Almaty-Talgar
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Hotel: Talgar-Hunny Village or similar Luxury yurts
After breakfast, drive to Talgat Village to experience a nomadic life show. You will learn about how nomadic people lived and enjoy a
demonstration of traditional horse games performed by local youth. You’ll have the opportunity to cook baursak with local aunties and taste them while they’re still hot. Enjoy a traditional lunch before settling in for the evening. Tonight, we will stay in luxurious Kazakh yurts in the village.
Day 7
Talgar-Almaty-Airport
Meals: Breakfast
Have nomad breakfast at Hunny village, enjoy your last minutes inKazakh land. Drive to the airport, drop off.
