Day 1

Departure

Arrival at Helsinki.

Transfer service from airport to hotel. After arriving at the hotel, check in and take a short rest to adjust to the time difference. Relax and recharge for the exciting adventure ahead!

Day 2

Helsinki

Helsinki City Sightseeing

Discover Helsinki’s historic and cultural landmarks, including Senate Square, Helsinki Cathedral, Uspenski Cathedral, and Sibelius Monument Park. Visit the unique Temppeliaukio Church (Rock Church) before enjoying free time at the festive Helsinki Christmas Market.

Day 3

Helsinki - Ivalo - Kirkenes

Morning domestic fly to Ivalo.

Travel north to Ivalo and continue by coach to Kirkenes. Enjoy a scenic journey through the Arctic wilderness before settling in at your hotel.

Day 4

Kirkenes - Saariselkä

Experience the thrilling Arctic King Crab Safari, ride a snowmobile sledge across a frozen fjord, and visit the Snowhotel. Get yourself a wondering experience of catching the king crabs and how it’s being prepared by the master guide! After feasting on freshly caught king crab legs with soup and bread, continue to Saariselkä, where a magical stay in an Aurora Cabin awaits.

Embark on a thrilling Husky Safari, racing through the pristine snow-covered landscapes with your own team of eager sled dogs For those seeking more excitement, try snowshoeing or cross-country skiing, both offering a fantastic way to take in the breathtaking scenery.

Day 6

Saariselkä - Lousto - Rovaniemi

Travel to Luosto for a visit to the Amethyst Mine, one of the few mies that welcomes visitors all year round, where you can dig for your own lucky amethyst. The Amethyst of Lampivaara was formed about 2,000 million years ago in the bowels of the ancient mountains. Enjoy the journey to the mine with pendolino ride, which takes you to the top of Lampivaara Fell, where you can enjoy the very top view of the area over the Pyhä-Luosto National Park. Continue to Rovaniemi, the heart of Lapland.

Day 7

Rovaniemi - Kemi - Rovaniemi

Travel to Kemi and visit SnowExperience365, an indoor winter wonderland featuring ice sculptures, an ice slide, and unique photo opportunities on an icy throne. Enjoy time to explore the scenic town of Kemi or take an optional snow activity, such as a snowshoeing trek or fat biking on snow trails. Return to Rovaniemi for a festive Christmas buffet to end the day.

Rovaniemi City Sightseeing

Visit the enchanting Santa Claus Village, where you’ll receive a certificate for crossing the Arctic Circle and explore Santa’s Post Office, where letters from around the world arrive for Santa. Enjoy free time to shop for souvenirs, take photos with Santa, and experience the festive atmosphere. Consider an optional activity such as a snowmobile adventure or a visit to a local handicraft workshop to learn about traditional Lapland crafts.
