Driving Distance: About 350km, ~ 7 hours
On your first day, explore Iceland’s contrasts with a Golden Circle and South Coast tour. Visit Þingvellir National Park to learn about Viking history and the Mid-Atlantic Rift, then the geothermal wonderland of Haukadalur, home to the active Strokkur and the famous Geysir. Next, marvel at Gullfoss, the Golden Waterfall, before stopping at Seljalandsfoss, which you can walk behind, and the powerful Skógafoss. Continue along the South Coast past glaciers and volcanoes to Reynisfjara black sand beach with its basalt columns, Reynisdrangar sea stacks, lava cave, and volcanic sands. Overnight is in a country hotel near Kirkjubæjarklaustur.

After breakfast, head east along the Ring Road into Skaftafell and Vatnajökull National Parks, home to Iceland’s highest peak, Hvannadalshnúkur, and striking outlet glaciers like Svínafellsjökull and Falljökull. From April to October, enjoy a glacier hike on a Vatnajökull outlet with a certified guide, exploring crevasses and moulins; from October to mid-April, experience the shimmering Crystal Ice Cave. Next, visit Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon to see drifting icebergs and then Diamond Beach, where ice chunks glisten on black volcanic sand. Overnight is in a cozy southeast town.

Today, we journey through the dramatic Eastfjords, with twisting roads and steep mountains offering spectacular views. Stop at the charming fishing village of Djúpivogur, known for its black sandy beaches, rich birdlife, and eco-friendly community, before continuing to Egilsstaðir, where the mystical Lagarfljót River flows and tales of the legendary Lagarfljót Worm abound. The day ends at the Wilderness Center, a historic museum and hub offering exhibits on highland life, outdoor activities, warm bathing pools, and local cuisine, with overnight accommodation in Egilsstaðir.

Today, we drive from Egilsstaðir to North Iceland, starting with the stunning Stuðlagil Canyon, famed for its towering basalt columns, then on to the surreal Námaskarð geothermal area with colorful mud pools and steaming fumaroles. We continue to Lake Mývatn and the dramatic Dimmuborgir lava formations, known as the “dark cities,” before stopping at the majestic Goðafoss Waterfall, the “Waterfall of the Gods.” The day ends at a country hotel in Akureyri.
Myvatn Nature Baths are not included in the package and must be paid for separately as an optional extra.
From Jan–Mar 2026, we’ll visit Forest Lagoon instead of Mývatn Nature Baths, which will be closed for renovations.

After departing Akureyri, we head west along Eyjafjörður Fjord for an exciting whale-watching tour, spotting humpback whales, dolphins, porpoises, and occasionally blue whales or seals. The journey continues along the scenic Tröllaskagi (Troll Peninsula), passing charming villages and farmlands, with a stop in the historic fishing town of Siglufjörður, once the herring capital of the Atlantic. We drive through the horse-rich regions of Skagafjörður and Húnavatnassýsla before arriving at a country hotel in Laugarbakki for the night.

Today we explore the wonders of Borgarfjörður in West Iceland, starting with a short hike up the cinematic Grábrók Volcanic Crater for panoramic views. We then visit Deildartunguhver, Europe’s most powerful hot spring, before marveling at Hraunfossar and its sister Barnafoss waterfalls, where glacial waters cascade over lava formations. Our journey continues to historic Reykholt, once home to the famed poet and historian Snorri Sturluson, and concludes with a scenic drive through the Borgarfjörður countryside to our hotel in Borgarnes.

Today we explore the diverse Snæfellsnes Peninsula, nicknamed “miniature Iceland,” featuring glacier-capped volcanoes, dramatic lava fields, and rocky beaches. We visit the charming coastal villages of Arnarstapi and Hellnar, enjoy a short hike in Snæfellsnes National Park with views of Snæfellsjökull Glacier, marvel at the towering Lóndrangar sea stacks, and explore the mystical Djúpalónssandur black sand beach with its lava formations and shipwreck. On the way back to Reykjavík, we stop at the iconic Kirkjufell mountain with its picturesque waterfalls before returning to the capital.

Driving Distance: About 400km, ~ 10 hours
Today’s adventure depends on the season: from mid-June to late September, enjoy a Landmannalaugar Super Jeep Tour in the Central Highlands, exploring colorful rhyolite mountains, lava fields, and geothermal hot springs where you can soak in natural baths. From October to mid-June, embark on a snowmobiling tour on Langjökull Glacier, Iceland’s second-largest glacier, with full equipment and guidance provided for beginners. Either way, you’ll experience untamed highland landscapes, volcanoes, glaciers, and panoramic vistas before returning to Reykjavík around 9:00 p.m.
From mid-June to the end of September, we will take you on the Landmannalaugar Super Jeep Tour in the Highlands of Iceland. From October to mid-June, we will go on a snowmobiling tour on Langjokull Glacier.
All snowmobile drivers need to bring a valid Driving License. Two people ride one snowmobile. If you are on your own or wish to ride solo (a valid driver's license is mandatory), you need to book this and pay an extra 10000 ISK. If you are a solo traveler and don't have a driver's license or a pair with another person, you need to pay an extra 51000 ISK to hire a driver guide.
